Sri Lanka’s Dialog Axiata ups stake in e-learning firm

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s biggest mobile phone operator Dialog Axiata has increased its stake in Headstart (Private) Limited by converting bonds to additional equity in the e-learning firm.
Digital Holdings Lanka (Private) Limited (‘DHL’), a subsidiary of Dialog Axiata, has converted to equity the ‘Bond type B’ and ‘Bond type C’ in Headstart (Private) Limited (‘Headstart’), consisting of 414 Ordinary Shares.
Subsequent to the conversion, the total shareholding of DHL in Headstart increased from 26% to 43.37% amounting to a total of 766 Ordinary Shares.
Headstart provides a complete e-Learning software and content that is designed to be accessible across platforms and devices.
