Sri Lanka government opens bank accounts to contribute disaster aid

ECONOMYNEXT - Sri Lanka's government has opened foreign currency banking accounts to receive cash contributions to help victims of recent landslides and floods.

All such donations will be used to rebuild damaged property of the victims, the finance ministry said.

The accounts are at Sampath Bank PLC (SWIFT code: BSAMLKLX)
