Cosmopolitan to debut in Sri Lanka today

ECONOMYNEXT - Cosmopolitan, a magazine for young women encouraging them to live their lives to the fullest, will be launched in Sri Lanka today in a partnership between Hearst Magazine International and Colombo-based Capital Media.
The magazine, published in 74 countries, has a combined monthly print and digital audience of more than 100 million, and is the first major global magazine brand to launch in Sri Lanka
Cosmopolitan has been inspiring and empowering young women around the world for decades, and will be an exciting addition to the media landscape in Sri Lanka, Capital Media said.

The magazine’s content spans fashion and beauty, relationships, health and fitness, career and entertainment, encouraging young women to live their lives to the fullest.

Hearst Magazines International senior vice president, licensing and business development Gautam Ranji said. Published monthly, Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka will reach the young woman at her location of convenience.
From bookstores to supermarkets, clothing stores to restaurants and salons, Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka will be easily accessible for its desirable audience.
Hearst Magazines International, a unit of Hearst, has nearly 300 print editions and more than 250 websites in 30 languages and 78 countries.
In addition to Cosmopolitan it also owns ELLE, ELLE DECOR, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's BAZAAR, Popular Mechanics, and Seventeen.
In addition, Hearst Magazines International publishes other titles through joint ventures, including Men’s Health and Runner’s World in the U.K.
