LSE to shift support centre to Sri Lanka from Bangalore

ECONOMYNEXT – The London Stock Exchange will shift its support centre in Bangalore, India to Sri Lanka, Ranjith Fernando, Chairman of the Urban Development Authority (UDA) said.
LSE’s Bangalore support centre now employs about 1,500 people providing services to stocj exchanges around the world.
“Eventually most of those jobs would be shifted to Sri Lanka,” Fernando told EconomyNext.com.
LSE’s support centre will be at the TRACE Expert City in Maradana set up by the UDA as a technology and innovation business hub.
