PIA leases three Airbus A330s from Sri Lanka flag carrier

ECONOMYNEXT- Pakistan International Airlines had wet-leased three Airbus A330 aircraft from Sri Lanka's flag carrier which will be deployed on London route from August 14, a report said.

Bloomberg Newswires said the first of three aircraft will be delivered to PIA next week.

The aircraft will be deployed on three weekly flights from London to Lahore and three from London to Islamabad.

State-run SriLankan Airlines had said it was negotiating to lease up to four aircraft to PIA which became surplus after it cut flights to loss-making routes in Europe.

SriLankan maintains flights to London. (Colombo/July30/2016)

    What are the terms of payment. Is there a default clause for the delay in payment. And will we get payment in quarterly or annual settlement.
