Sri Lanka 12-month Treasuries yields fall 6-bp

ECONOMYNEXT- Sri Lanka Treasuries yields fell across maturities with 12-month bills falling 06 basis points to 10.52 percent at Tuesday's auction, data from the state debt office showed.
The auction was held a day earlier as Wednesday is a market holiday.
Weighted average yields of 3-month bills fell 6 basis points to 9.49 percent 6-month bills saw yields fall 8 basis points to 9.79 percent.
The Public Debt Department sold 3-month and 6-month bills for the first time in 6 weeks.
The state debt office sold 2 billion rupees each in 3-month and 6-month bills and 20 billion rupees in 12-month bills, totalling 24 billion rupees.
It had received bids totalling 66.7 billion rupees. (Colombo/Mar19/2019-SB)
