Sri Lanka Bastiat Society holds public event on free enterprise

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka's Bastiat Society is organizing a public event on aspects of free enterprise and capitalism featuring an international speaker, Tom Palmer.
Palmer who received his doctorate from Oxford University is a Vice President at Atlas Network, a think tank.
He is also a Senior Fellow at Cato Institute.
The session will be moderated by Luxman Siriwardena, Executive Director of Pathfinder Foundation.
He is the author of "Realizing Freedom: Libertarian Theory, History and Practice", (2014) and the editor of such books as "The Morality of Capitalism" (2011) and "After the Welfare State" (2014).
The event, which is open to the public will be held from 10.30 to 12.30 on March 31, at Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Mandiraya, main auditorium, Colombo 5. (Buddhist Cultural Centre near Thummulla Junction).
The Bastiat Society of Sri Lanka is a non-profit organization which engages with private sector stake holders, local and foreign academics to improve economic literacy.
