ECONOMYNEXT - Eight Indians, six Britons and another two holding US dual passports, two each from Australia, China and Turkey are among 31 foreigners who died in Easter Sunday bombings of churches and hotels by suspected Islamists, the foreign ministry said.

Another two held Australian and Sri Lanka dual nationalities.

One foreign national each from Bangladesh, France, Japan and the Netherlands had also been identified.

A further 14 foreign nationals are missing and could be among un-indentified bodies kept in Colombo, the foreign ministry said.

There were 17 foreign nationals being treated at hospitals.

"The Foreign Ministry continues to be in close contact with the relevant hospital authorities to identify the remaining victims," the statement said.
