ECONOMYEXT - Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena says no deal has been reached with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on the future political direction of the coalition.
"As there had been no decision or agreement on gaining control of local bodies or the future direction of the government, media reports to that effect are rejected," the office of the President said in a statement.
Prime Minister Wickremesinghe met President Sirisena Sunday evening at his Paget Road resident for a short meeting, according to reports. (Colmbo/Feb12/2018)
