Sri Lanka expects a deal with India on Mattala airport in three months: PM

ECONOMYNEXT - Sri Lanka is expecting to conclude a deal with India to operate Mattala airport in the next three months, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had said.
He was speaking at the foundation laying ceremony for an Indian-backed refinery in the nearby Mirijjawila investment zone in Hambantota.
The refinery is promoted by Accord Group in India.
Wickremesinghe said the port, airport and industrial zone will lay the foundation for greater economic activity in the area. (Colombo/Mar25/2019-SB)
