Sri Lanka minister asks Muslims pray at home on Friday

ECONOMYNEXT - Sri Lanka's minister for Muslim religious affairs has asked people not to attend Friday prayers at mosques after a series of bombings by Islamists killed over 350 people including 40 foreigners.
Miniser Abdul Haleem Mohammed Hashim asked Muslims to stay at home as a 'sign of solidarity with the Catholic community' and pray for peace and security of the country.
"We need to earnestly pray that the Almighty Allah destroys the activities of these inhuman terrorist murderers," he said in a

Islamists bombed three Christian churches during Easter Sunday religious services and three hotels, killing 359 people and injuring over 500.
Police said nine suicide bombers were involved.
