Sri Lanka petroleum refiner to be headed by an engineer

EconomyNext - Sri Lanka's new Minister of Power and Energy Patali Champika Ranawaka has appointed an engineer, Ranjith Wickramasinghe, as new chairman and Director General of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), the state-run refiner.
Ranawaka also appointed as his ministry Secretary H M B C Herath, a senior civil servant who had previously been Additional Secretary of the ministries of labour and fisheries.
Ranjith Wickramasinghe is an engineer with 33 years of service with the CPC having been its Deputy General Manager previously.
