Sri Lanka's Ceylon Chamber economic policy forum starts Tuesday

ECONOMYNEXT - Sri Lanka's Economic Summit 2015, an annual policy forum with the participation of Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickremesinghe kicks off Tuesday.
The forum will have eight sessions on areas such as National Vision: Policy Implementation and Perspective, A New Global Economic Strategy for Sri Lanka, Driving Exports – Use of Social Media and Technology, Challenges In and Opportunities For Financing of Exports, Championing Value Addition in Agri Exports, Sustainability Led Export Growth, Going Up the Value Chain – Export of Knowledge Services.
The forum will kick off with an address by Prime Minister Wickremesinghe. Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake will be in the first session. President Sirisena will join the final session Wedneday.
Economists including Razeen Sally as well as top business leaders will participate. (Colombo/Aug04/2015)
