Sri Lanka's Microimage ties up with digital ad agency Antyra

ECONOMYNEXT - Microimage, a Sri Lanka based soft-ware company has tied up with Antyra Solutions a start-up digital advertising agency, a statement said.
Antyra said it had entered into a strategic partnership and investment agreement with Microimage Mobile Media (Pvt) Ltd, a unit of Microimage Holdings in which the firms' co-founder Rohan Jayaweera a was chief operating officer.
Jayaweera, who was Sri Lanka's country consultant for Google, will move to be chief operating officer of Antyra. Damindu Jayaweera, a director of Microimage will also join the board of Antyra solution.
Antyra chief excutive and co-founder, Niranka T Perera said the firm will scale up its offering in the next few six month.
The six-month old company was already had companies in fast moving consumer goods, travel, banking and online retail as clients.
The partnership will bring mobile platform development, mobile application development and software engineering services to Antyra offering.
"Our investment and strategic partnership with Antyra will help both companies achieve many synergies going forward in this era of digital transformation," Harsha Purasinghe, CEO of Microimage said in the statement.
"We look forward to collaborate more closely with the Antyra team towards building new products and services in the emerging digital landscape."
The firm said it hoped to tap the UK and Middle East later this year. (Colombo/Aug12/2015)
