5 Bn., rupees, tempting isn't it. It should be the prime duty of all those concerned to see that this programme of ensuring this guaranteed price will be strictly established on the ground. There has been both , political and local connivance to manipulate the practice to the detriment of the hard working farmers. Some farmers , have , either reluctantly or forcefully pushed into been participants on some of these frauds. Today, farmers are the most important component in the social order, and it the responsibility of the rulers and administrators to see that they are protected from these influences.
