Aitken Spence Travels brings 100,000 tourists to Sri Lanka
COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Aitken Spence Travels said it had crossed the 100,000 mark in the number of visitors to Sri Lanka handled by the firm for the financial year of 2014/2015, making it the top supplier to hotels.
“We have shown significant capacity to adjust to the changing market conditions and fuel growth in spite of the lingering economic and geopolitical challenges," Nalin Jayasundera, Managing Director of Aitken Spence Travels said in a statment.
" Aitken Spence Travels continues to be the highest contributor to the government’s Tourism Development Levy in Sri Lanka from amongst all travel companies.
"Furthermore, Aitken Spence Travels is a significant contributor to our partner hotels by providing 248,000 room nights annually, being the biggest supplier of inventory to the hotels sector."
