ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s national COVID task force has made arrangements for parliamentarians to get vaccinated starting tomorrow (16), a spokesperson said.

From February 16 to 19, MPs can get vaccinated voluntarily at the Army Hospital in Narahenpita, Colombo, the spokesperson told EconomyNext.

The task force said it has the capacity to vaccinate all MPs over the course of a single day but have decided to give them four days to receive the jab.

It is up to individual parliamentarians to decide whether they want to receive the jab or not, the spokesperson added (Colombo/Feb15/2021)
