ECONOMYNEXT – The Australian High Commission has launched the Blue Economy Challenge in Sri Lanka, part of an Indian Ocean wide effort to find new ways for aquaculture.
It is a 03 million Australian dollar initiative of the Australian Government that calls for new ideas from innovators, entrepreneurs, designers, NGOs and academics from across the Indian Ocean region.
“The selection process for the Blue Economy Challenge is competitive, and open across the Indian Ocean region,” a statement said.
