Ceylon Chamber compiling Sri Lanka small business registry
ECONOMYNEXT – The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said it has started to collect data from Sri Lankan small and medium enterprises spread across the country in order to compile a new SME registry.
“The main objective of the new registry is to help SMEs find potential business partners to further enhance their business activities,” a statement said.
The ‘SME Registry 2016’ will be launched at the forthcoming “Sri Lanka SME Forum” organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, which will be held on the 27th February 2016 in Kandy.
It will also be promoted among overseas and local participants at the “Sri Lanka Investment and Business Conclave 2016” which will be held during March 2016.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will also circulate the registry among banks, lending agencies, development agencies and local and overseas diplomatic missions.
