Chitranjali Dissanayake made Sri Lanka Export Development Board chief
ECONOMYNEXT – Chitranjali Dissanayake, a career Export Development Board officer has been made its Director General from August 04.
Prior to her appointment as DG, she had been the Director of Industrial Products division and Acting for Additional Director General (Development), the EDB said.
Dissanayake holds a BA degree from the University of Colombo and an MBA from the Post-Graduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
She had joined the EDB as a Research Assistant in 1986 and had worked in Policy and Strategic Planning, Market Development, Product Management, Industrial Products and Services divisions of the EDB through 34 years of service. (Colombo/Aug08/2020)
