Fitch not to rate Sri Lanka’s Pradeshiya Sanwardhana Bank

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Fitch Ratings said it would no longer rate Sri Lanka’s Pradeshiya Sanwardhana Bank (PSB) which had a national long term rating of ‘BBB+(lka)’ with ‘stable’ outlook. "Fitch is withdrawing the rating as PSB has chosen to stop participating in the rating process," the rating said in a statemen. "Therefore, Fitch will no longer have sufficient information to maintain the rating. Accordingly, Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage for PSB."
