Five persons apprehended for illegal fishing

The Navy arrested five individuals who were engaged in illegal fishing near the Round Island, Trincomalee, yesterday (10).
The suspects, identified as residents of Kinnya, were arrested during a patrol carried out by the Navy.
A dinghy, an outboard motor (OBM) and an unauthorised fishing net were seized along with the suspects.
