Gujarat businesswomen keen on trade, investment with Sri Lanka
ECONOMYNEXT – A delegation from the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s business women wing want to promote more trade and investment between the state and Sri Lanka.
A delegation from the chamber led by chairperson Hemlata C Bhoota called on Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Austin Fernando, recently, his office said in a statement.
“The main objective of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for expanding trade and investment between the State of Gujarat and Sri Lanka,,” it said.
Bhoota proposed the Sri Lanka High Commission organize a Sri Lanka ‘Business & Investment Forum’ in the State of Gujarat in association with the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
