Hambantota Port Group recognized at SL Best Employer Brand Awards
The Hambantota International Port Group (HIPG) received honors at the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards held recently at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.
The awards organized by the Employer Branding Institute in collaboration with the World HRD Congress and the World Federation of HR professionals, is endorsed by CHRO ASIA — a Global Platform for heads of Human Resources, a press release from the company said.
The Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards features the top companies and organizations in the island, with an excellent and upheld track record in their Human Resources management methodologies along with the use of marketing communications successfully for the development of human resource.
The awarding criteria is based on interpreting and joining the vision and action with HR strategy; building lines to put together HR Strategy with Business; pursuing future competencies to enable development of the organization to be future-ready; diversified culture within the organization; employee benefits; engagement and providing equal opportunities to women leaders.
“HIPG was recognised in the best employer category which is an endorsement of the best practices we have implemented in terms of our current HR policies and overall HR strategy”, said the General Manager of Human Resources of HIPG, Jeevan Premasara.
The Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards follows a firm research policy in choosing organizations, and is headed by Dr. Indira Parikh, Ex-Dean of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
