Japanese Foreign Minister in Sri Lanka
Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi arrived in Sri Lanka last night for an official visit and is expected to meet Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Relations Dinesh Gunawardene today (13).
Motegi and the 21 officials from Japan were received by the Sri Lankan Foreign Relations Ministry and officials from the Japanese Embassy at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).
The visit of Motegi will further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Japan.
Motegi arrived in Sri Lanka following a visit to Moscow while he is then scheduled to make a stop in Madrid from Saturday to attend 14th ASEM Foreign Ministers’meeting.
