Sri Lanka 01-year Treasuries yield rises to 9.66-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s central bank sold 21-billion rupees of 12-month Treasury Bills at the weekly auction Wednesday with the average yield rising 07 basis points to 9.66% from last week, the public debt department said.
It rejected bids for 03 and 06 month bills, according to a statement.
The bank had offered Rs30 billion of 01-year Treasury Bills and got bids worth Rs72 billion.
