Sri Lanka 01-yr Treasury Bill yield steady at 9.91-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s 01-year Treasury Bill yield remained steady at 9.91 percent at Wednesday’s auction while yields on shorter tenors fell, data from the state debt office showed.
The 03-month Treasury Bill yield fell 06 basis points to 8.94 percent from last week, while the 06-month bill yield was down 05 basis points to 9.14 percent.
The debt office of the Central Bank sold Treasury Bills worth 25 billion rupees at the auction, the exact amount offered, while bids amounted to 64 billion rupees.
Bids for the 01-year bill totalled 45 billion rupees of which 16 billion rupees were accepted.
