ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s 03-month Treasury Bill yields fell 14 basis points to 8.38 percent from 8.52 percent on May 15 when they were last offered, data from the state debt office showed.
The 01-year and 06-month bill yields remained steady at 8.88 percent and 8.63 percent at Tuesday’s auction.
The debt office, part of the central bank, sold 2.3 billion rupees of 03-month bills, after offering 02 billion rupees and getting offers of up to 4.3 billion rupees.
It sold 7.2 billion rupees in 12-month bills, having offered 14 billion rupees worth and getting bids of 31 billion rupees.
The debt office sold 10 billion rupees in 06-month bills, after offering 04 billion rupees and getting bids of 14 billion rupees.
