ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s 12-month Treasury bill yield eased 07 basis points to 8.22 percent at Wednesday’s auction, the state debt office said.
The debt office sold 1.25 billion rupees of 3-month bills at 7.45 percent, unchanged from a week earlier after offering 1.0 billion to the market.
The debt office sold 6.25 billion rupees of 6-month bills at 7.60 percent, down 07 basis points after offering 7.5 billion rupees.
In 12-month bills, 15 billion rupees of securities were offered and 16 billion was sold. (Colombo/Dec04/2019)
