Sri Lanka 12-month Treasuries yield falls 16-bp to 9.99-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Treasury Bill yields fell across maturities at Wednesday’s auction with 12-month bills dropping 16 basis points to 9.99 percent, data from the state debt office showed.
Weighted average yields of 03-month bills fell 15 basis points to 9.09 percent while the 06-month bill yield fell 21 basis points to 9.29 percent, according to a statement from the Central Bank’s Public Debt Department.
The debt office sold 15 billion rupees in 12-month bills, the exact amount offered, having got bids of 54 billion rupees, and 05 billion rupees each in 03-month and 06-month bills, also the same amounts offered.
