Sri Lanka 12-month Treasuries yield falls 25-bp to 10.15-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Treasury Bill yields fell across maturities at Wednesday’s auction with 12-month bills slumping by 25 basis points to 10.15 percent, data from the state debt office showed.
Weighted average yields of 03-month bills fell 15 basis points to 9.24 percent while the 06-month bill yield fell 17 basis points to 9.50 percent, according to a statement from the Central Bank’s Public Debt Department.
The debt office sold 20 billion rupees in 12-month bills, the exact amount offered, having got bids of 87 billion rupees, and 04 billion rupees each in 03-month and 06-month bills, also the same amounts offered.
