Sri Lanka 12-month Treasury yield falls 10bp to 8.11-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s 12-month Treasuries yield fell 10 basis points to 8.11 percent at Wednesday’s auction with the central bank’s public debt department accepting the exact amount offered.
Treasury bill yields have been falling for seven weeks.
The 03-month yield fell to 10 basis points to 7.75 percent, data from the debt office showed.
The 06-month bill yield fell 09 basis points to 7.85 percent.
The debt office accepted a total of 18.5 billion rupees, the same amount offered, after getting bids of 40 billion rupees.
It accepted offers for14.5 billion rupees of 12-month bills and 2.5 billion rupees of 06-month bills.
