Sri Lanka airport to get Rs600mn new approach road
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka will build a 600 million rupee second approach road to the main international airport in Katunayake, cabinet spokesman Minister Ramesh Pathirana said.
He said there was congestion at peak hours at the airport.
The cost of the second access road has been estimated at 600 million rupees.
The road will run from Minuwangoda road and the Board of Investment industrial zone area.
Sri Lanka Airport and Aviation Services, the state airport agency will provide funds. (Colombo/Feb07/2020)
