Sri Lanka allows burial of Muslim and Christian Covid-19 victims by gazette
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has issued a gazette notice ending forced cremation of Muslim and Christian Coronavirus victims.
Sri Lanka force cremated Covid-19 victims going against global health practices drawing worldwide concerns.
Some Buddhist monks and nationalists had opposed the burial of Muslim victim despite repeated appeals saying they contaminated water table.
