ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has sold 95 billion rupees of Treasury bills at an auction on Wednesday after offering 95 billion with most of the money coming from 3-month bills while yields across maturities fell, data from the state debt office showed.
The debt office sold 55 billion rupees in 3-month bills at 30.08 percent, down 107 basis points from a week earlier, after offering 55 billion rupees.
All the offered 20 billion rupees in 6-month bills were sold at 29.07 percent, down 230 basis points from a week earlier.
20 billion rupees of 12-month bills were sold at 28.25 percent, down 79 basis points from a week earlier after offering 20 billion. (Colombo/Jan 18/2022)
