ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka sells 40.2 percent billion rupees of bonds maturing in 2025, 2027 and 2031, while the secondary market remained flat, market dealers said.
The debt office sold 7.98 billion rupees of 15.03.2025 bonds at 11.05 percent after calling bids for 12.5 billion rupees.
7.2 billion rupees of 15.12.2027 bonds were sold at 11.70 percent after calling bids for 12.5 billion rupees. 25 billion rupees of 01.12.2031 bonds were sold at 12.01 percent, after offering 25 billion rupees.
There are no bond maturities at the settlement date of January 18.
In the second bonds market, yields remained flat.
A bond maturing on 15.11.2022 closed at 8.75/15 percent flat on Tuesday from Monday close.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2022 closed flat at 8.75/15 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.12.2027 closed at flat at 11.72/80 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2025 closed flat at 11.05/25 percent on Tuesday.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2027 closed flat at 11.72/78 percent on Tuesday.
