Sri Lanka bourse to suspend trading in firms not filing accounts
ECONOMYNEXT – The Sri Lankan bourse is to suspend trading in seven listed companies from 2 April 2018 for not filing interim financial statements and annual reports.
A Colombo Stock Exchange statement said the firm are Lanka Cement, PC House, PC Pharma, Ceylon & Foreign Trades, Standard Capital, Adam Investments and Adam Capital.
They have been on a CSE watch list for delays in submitting accounts and trading in their shares would be suspended unless they file results by 29 Match 2018, it said.
Lanka Cement has not been submitting interim quarterly financial statements from September 2014 while PC House and PC Pharma have not filed annual reports from March 2014 and quarterly statements from December 2015.
Ceylon & Foreign Trades has not filed quarterly results from September 2017 and the annual report for the year ended 31 March 2017.
Standard Capital, Adam Investments and Adam Capital have not filed quarterly financial statements from December 2017 and annual reports for the year ended 31 March 2017.
