Sri Lanka Bribery Commission takes Sajin Vass to court

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) –Sajin Vass Gunawardena, a legislator who was involved in several controversial financial deals during the Rajapaksa regime has been taken to court by Sri Lanka’s anti-corruption office.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption said action was filed against Vass Gunawardena under Sri Lanka’s asset declaration law.
Vass Gunawardena was widely known for his role in starting Mihin Lanka, a budget airline started with people’s money that lost billions of rupees.
