Sri Lanka finds vehicle bomb in capital
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has defused a bomb left in a vehicle not far from a church where a radical group set off a bomb on Easter Sunday, police said.
The special task force bomb defusal squad set off a controlled explosion, police said.
Earlier in the day, police also found 12 detonators at a bus station in Colombo.
Abut 300 people died in suicide bombing conducted by a radical group calling itself the National Thowfeeth Jama’at, the government said.
