Sri Lanka insurance watchdog appoints Dutch actuarial consultant
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s insurance regulator has appointed a Dutch consultant as part of a World Bank funded project to modernize the sector, the state information office said.
Teyus Mouric, has been appointed to provide Actuarial Expert Consultancy by the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.
The cabinet of ministers had approved his contract for 400,000 US dollars, the information office said.
The regulator will appoint five experts.
The consultancies are a part of a World Bank insurance sector modernization project which will total 9 million US dollars. (Colombo/June21/2020)
