Sri Lanka Minister says thinks tanks and govts in South Asia should work closely, use evidence
ECONOMYNEXT – Think tanks and governments in South Asia should work closely and programs must be evaluated on evidence, Sri Lanka’s Deputy Finance Minister Harsha de Silva has said.
He was speaking at a South Asia regional forum of think tanks in Gurgaon India.
India’s Minister of State for Finance of India Jayant Sinha said the Indian government was focussing on a reform agenda.
The forum organized by India’s Centre for Policy Research had brought together researchers from Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and India to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and opportunities.
