Sri Lanka offers US25mn floating rate bonds
COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka has offered a 25 million US dollar 3-year floating rate bonds at an auction closing on April 22, the state debt office said.
The bonds pay a coupon based on the 6-month London Interbank Offered Rate.
Sri Lanka has so far sold 156 million US dollars of 3-year floating rated bonds at LIBOR plus 377 basis points and 100 million in 5-year bonds at 405 basis points above LIBOR.
A 6.0 billion rupee bond auction has also been announced for Tuesday.
The debt office is offering 3.0 billion rupees of 3-year bonds maturing on 01.06.2018 and 3.0 billion rupees of 7-year bonds maturing on 01.07.22.
