Sri Lanka opposition protest in front of Central Bank – In Pictures

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka’s opposition legislators protested in front of the country’s Central Bank Tuesday calling for Governor Arjuna Mahendran to step down over alleged insider dealing by a company connected to his son-in-law in gilt markets.
The ruling United National Party which is conducting a probe and has promised a report to parliamnet say says the Rajapaska regime never probed any allegations against the Central Bank and the Employees Provident Fund.
