Sri Lanka pays diesel ship, part pays two others: Minister

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has paid the money for a diesel ship lying at the port and advance deposits have been made for another two ships, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.

“Payments made yesterday for a Diesel Cargo & will begin discharging today,” Minister Wijesekera said in a twitter.com message.

“Further Part Advance payments made to 1 Petrol cargo & 1 Diesel cargo.”

Ceylon Petrolem Corporation has entered into a 1 year agreement for the supply of Jet Fuel and will receive the first cargo on 12-14 August he said.
