COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka has sold 1.9 billion rupees of 4-year Treasury Bonds to yield 8.35 percent at this week’s auction, down from 8.46 percent at the last auction, dealers said.
The state debt office offered 3 billion rupees of bonds maturing on 1 May 2020 and got bids for 11.2 billion rupees.
It sold 7.8 billion rupees of 8-year bonds to yield 8.78 percent, down from 9.73 percent at the last auction on March 26. It offered 7 billion rupees of bonds and received bids for 27.9 billion rupees.
The debt office sold 10.5 billion rupees of 14 year bonds to yield 9.67 percent, having offered 10 billion and receiving bids for 33.3 billion rupees.
