ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has sold 40 billion rupees of bills at an auction on January 20, with a slight fall in the 12-month yield data from the state debt office showed.
The debt office sold 12 billion rupees of 3 month bill at 4.70 percent after offering 12 billion at 4.70 percent, flat.
Another 5 billion rupees were sold at 4.77 percent at 5 billion rupees, down one basis point from last week.
The debt office also sold 23 billion rupees of 12-month bills at 4.99 percent, down from 5.02 percent a week earlier.
