Sri Lanka sells Rs3.2bn in 10-year bonds, 7-years rejected

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka has sold 3.29 billion rupees of 10-year bonds to yield 9.01 percent, and rejected bids for7-year bonds, data from the state debt office showed.

The debt office called bids to sell 2.0 billion rupees of 7-year bonds maturing on 01.10.2022 and 2.0 billion rupees of bonds maturing on 15.02.2025.

Ten year bonds were last auctioned at an average of 8.98 percent on April 29.

Seven year bonds maturing on 01.07.2022 were quoted in the market around 8.50/60 percent dealers said.
