ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has sold 40.2 billion rupees of bonds maturing in 2025, 2027 and 2031, data from the state debt office showed.
The debt office sold 7.98 billion rupees of 15.03.2025 bonds at 11.05 percent after calling bids for 12.5 billion rupees.
7.2 billion rupees of 15.12.2027 bond were sold at 11.70 percent after calling bids for 12.5 billion rupees.
25 billion rupees of 01.12.2031 bonds were sold at 12.01 percent, after offering 25 billion rupees.
There are not bond maturities at the settlement date of January 18.
However estimates of coupon payments are around 31 billion rupees. (Colombo/Jan12/2021)
