Sri Lanka stock market reopens Tuesday
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s stock market will reopen Tuesday, 23 April, after being closed Monday following Sunday’s suicide bomb attacks that killed 290 people.
The Colombo Stock Exchange said in a statement the pre-open session (Open Auction Call) on 23rd April 2019 will be from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and regular trading will start at 10.30 a.m.
The CSE on Sunday said that in consultation with the Securities and Exchange Commission Monday’s trading session had been cancelled after curfew was declared overnight following the bomb blasts.
