Sri Lanka stocks becalmed

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka stocks closed barely changed with the main indices moving in opposite directions in thin trade, brokers said.
The Colombo All Share index closed 1.94 (0.03%) points up to 6,565.63 while the S&P SL20 index of more liquid stocks fell 5.49 points (0.15%) to close at 3,699.72. turnover was a low Rs288 million.
Softlogic Holdings, whose market price has nearly doubled in the past year and which had been heavily traded Friday, closed unchanged at 24 rupees.

Asia Securities said foreign buying continued in Softlogic Holdings, which accounted for most of the foreign inflow while the foreign selling was mainly in Hatton National Bank.
